Welcome to the Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) and Kayak course option at Best in the West Triathlon Festival!
The SUP/Kayak Tri course is the same as the triathlon course for each distance, except you don’t have to swim! Instead, you can paddle your way around the swim course. During theSUP/Kayak Tri you will paddle, bike and run in order. After exiting the water, you will need to carry your SUP/kayak onto the beach. We will show you where the craft staging area is on race weekend. The Half and Olympic SUP/Kayak Tri will start 10 minutes before the triathlon waves on the same day for that distance. The Sprint SUP/Kayak Tri will start after the sprint triathletes have cleared the water and will do two loops.
